2022 Tree Registration is
*CLOSED.

*Trees are currently only available to residents of the Demonstration Watershed area. If you are outside this area but still in the Cooper Creek Watershed, let us know you're interested or check back later. If we have trees left toward the end of the giveaway, we will expand the qualifying area.*

What do you get when you register for a tree?

What comes with your registration:

(0.75"-1.0" caliper, ~6ft tall)
Deer protection fencing
Stakes to install fencing
Zip ties to attach fence to stakes
Tree planting/care instructions
Access to free tree programs

We want these trees to grow large and stay healthy, so we are offering larger size trees and deer protection to help increase survivorship. We will be giving away 7-gallon container trees, which average 6’ tall when planted (pictured to the left).
If you were to purchase one of these trees at a local garden center, you could pay more than $100 just for the tree!!

2022 Available Tree Species

All available tree species have been pre-selected based upon the planting area. Selected trees will tolerate local soil types, various sunlight conditions, and are hardy enough to live in developed areas. They are all considered medium - large size trees and will provide shade, as well as habitat and food for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
*If one of these species does not show up on the registration page, then it is sold out.*
